HDR

I found this cool technique called HDR and a freeware program called qtpfsgui that helps you to do it. Hopefully I'll get better at this as time goes on.

Google "qtpfsgui". there are several other programs out there that I'd like to try as well but this seems to be one of the few completely free ones. Let me know if you find anything else. One note on this technique...it seems that it helps to have several things: a good solid tripod, a completely still subject, and a camera that brackets. For this posting I didn't have any of these. My tripod is not great and it was sitting on an uneven surface, the wind was blowing like crazy, and I had to further move the camera trying to change the exposure settings.

I hear you can also do this in photoshop but I'm not sure. I think CS3 might have the program built in...but I don't have the money to drop on that program just now.
